** updated to add that the treatment coordinator, Melanie, advocated on my behalf to have my bill waived. I appreciate that ultimately they were able to help me get this resolved. For that I am raising my one star review. I have never had a dental experience worse than with this practice. Prior to my visit, I called to confirm that my insurance was accepted and I paid for the imaging and procedures as outlined by my insurance upon arrival. I was there for a routine 6 month cleaning. They proceeded to tell me I needed an expensive procedure that I could not afford and made me feel guilty when I declined to do it. They reluctantly cleaned my teeth while I was in tears after feeling so degraded. Then, 1 year later, I received a bill for almost $400 despite being told that my insurance covered what was done that day. I called to contest it. Someone said they'd look into it and get back to me. No one ever did. Another full year later, I got a final notice for unpaid dues. So now I'm forced to pay for a horrible experience that I was told would be covered. I would never recommend this practice to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience at Durham Dental Group. I called on a Saturday with a dental issue and they worked me in same day. Dr. Parekh not only addressed my issue, but made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the appointment. Liz was a wonderful assistant and treated me with such kindness. Lindsay was extremely helpful with scheduling. I highly recommend this office.

These guys are great! This was my first experience with them after not going to a dentist for too long, I felt very well taken care of. Everyone’s wonderfully pleasant and took great care to make sure I understood every part of the process and was as comfortable as possible. Would highly recommend! Shoutout to Dr. Parekh, Caren, and Melanie who took care of me today

Durham Dental Group has a great team! My hygienist was very skilled. The cleaning was done in a gentle, but thorough fashion that was absolutely pain free. Dr. P gave me a great exam, and offered a treatment plan for some crowns I’ll be scheduling soon. Melanie and Lindsey then submitted my treatment plan to my insurance carrier so we can schedule my crown preps. It’s easy to see that they enjoy their work. Who knew going to the dentist could be such fun!

Will return! Was able to book same day appointment for sudden oral/cheek pain. Dr. P was thorough with his assessment and provided on the spot treatment as well as discussed future treatment plans with estimated costs which shows he cares about patients teeth and their wallet! Everyone at the office including Dr. P and Jayla were very flexible and kind about my baby having to come to the office with me. They even entertained my baby while I had X-rays done for safety. Melanie the assistant was also great. The team here truly cares!
